Established in 1946, the Berl Katznelson Foundation honors the legacy of labor pioneer Berl Katznelson, a key architect of Israel’s infrastructure – including its first bank, HMO, labor union, and more.
BKF is a hybrid foundation building strategic partnerships based on both ideological alignment and financial instrument.

Organizational and budgetary basis
The Foundation owns the Beit Berl complex (~272 acres of land), hosting social and educational impact ventures.
Income generated from leases and tenants supports the non-profit centers operating under the foundation: the Berl Katznelson Center (~5 million NIS), the Educational-Social Center (~4.5 million NIS), and Be’eri Educational Enterprises
Donations raised from external supporters are matched by the foundation, to ensure program sustainability and the ability to plan long-term.
